Honey Bees

Honey Bees

This is an exciting time when children start to develop their independence and take an active interest in the world around them. Our play-based curriculum focuses on fostering creativity, confidence, and early social skills.

growing through play

Weekly ECD Program: Our innovative Early Childhood Development (ECD) program is created by Occupational Therapists. It follows weekly themes designed to develop core skills through various types of play, ensuring your child’s mental and physical growth.

Hands-On Learning and Play: Children at this age love to explore different forms of play, from creative arts to role-playing and problem-solving games. We provide structured activities that allow them to develop key cognitive skills while having fun.

Language and Communication Development: We encourage your child to use language in new and exciting ways. They’ll continue to build their vocabulary, start forming simple sentences, and engage in conversations with their caregivers and peers. Storytime, singing, and group discussions are all part of the daily routine.

Early Mathematics and Problem Solving: Our Honeybees are introduced to basic counting, sorting objects by size and shape, and solving simple puzzles. These activities help strengthen their problem-solving skills and prepare them for more advanced learning.

Motor Skill Advancement: At this stage, your child is refining both their gross and fine motor skills. We encourage activities that promote balance, coordination, and strength, such as climbing, running, and kicking. Fine motor skills are developed through art projects, building structures with blocks, and manipulating small objects.

Potty Training: We introduce potty training from 18 months with a supportive and gentle approach.

Daily Meals: Freshly prepared meals are provided daily and included in our fees, ensuring your child receives nutritious food to fuel their growth.

The Honey Bees group is all about nurturing your child’s natural curiosity and helping them grow into confident, independent learners.
